Since I started drawing I never thought someday I'd end using a computer for it. Everything was pencils and paper, even though they're my favorite media, just CG and softwares have change my conception about drawing.



My latest and most loved acquisition, my Wacom Bamboo Pen. I got it last year around October, from my own earned money. First Apple thingy I bought ever. And totally love it. But doesn't mean was my first tablet; I had a Genius tablet since 2007, and from then I never stopped drawing on screen. So I gained experience from my old tablet, that I loved so much, but Wacom is just awesome. My hand tended to get tired easily, I used to much pressure to draw, and the tip get beveled, but Wacoms have new tips to change and an easy recognition to pressure, which is important for digital works.

If I’d never knew about tablets, I guess my skills on traditional media would improve more. But design demands lots of knowledge on digital media, so even if I’d want, I couldn’t not use technology. Improves on time, using programs it’s easier. Just with lots of practice you can get a total control of the tablet. (people never think about how many years I've been practicing; they think tablet has a magical power that makes everyone a tablet master instantly.)
